Open Letter to the Kids in the Hallway

Dear kids in the hallway at my high school, where do i even begin? This has been an ongoing issue for years and years on end and it never gets better. I would say this letter directs to 2 certain groups in particular.

I’d first like to start of with the slow walkers. We get 4 minutes between each class to get to where we need to be. I understand our school isn’t the biggest but when your walking from one end to another plus going up or down stairs it can become a hike. I don’t care that ur class is 4 doors down, that’s great but I have places to be. Honestly, I find people that walk slowly in the hallways inconsiderate and unaware of their surroundings. Please fix this for students in years to come.

The next group i’d like to address is the big group of kids who thinks it’s cool to stand in a big group and crowd the hallway. The amount of ignorance I see in that act is unreal and very frustrating. You guys can talk to each other after school now go to class on time just like what everyone else is trying to do. It doesn’t make you “cool” in any way shape or form.

I hope you 2 groups can take my suggestions into consideration or at least acknowledge the issue. I really hope you guys can fix it so traveling in the hallways can be easier for years to come. I appreciate you reading and hope to see you guys in class instead of the hallways!
